General Document Submission Guidelines

Acceptable Document for Official Evaluations

  • Electronic Record (Institution-Verified) sent directly by institutions or examination authorities. or
  • Electronic Record (Third-Party Verified) sent directly by a trusted electronic document service, such as MyCreds, CHSI, Digitary, Parchment, My eQuals, etc. or
  • Institutions and examination authorities may also send Attested Copy/Certified True Copy via mail(in Sealed Envelope) to our office. or
  • If acquiring official documents directly from the issuing institution is challenging or not possible (e.g., in regions affected by political instability, natural disasters, or other force majeure events), ERES may accept Original Physical Documents submitted by the applicant.

Acceptable Document for Provisional Evaluations (when no original documents are available):

  • Scanned copies of official documents may be accepted in certain circumstances.
  • Applicants should confirm with the recipient institution whether an evaluation based on unofficial documents will be accepted.

Acceptable Document for Pre-Evaluations:

  • Upload a scanned copy or photocopy of your records directly to your ERES account under the pre-evaluation application.

For Completed Programs:

  • Official diploma, degree certificate, or graduation certificate
  • Official final transcripts or academic records showing all completed coursework and grades
  • Official translations of documents not issued in English (If available)
  • Any additional documents required by ERES based on the country of study

For Incomplete or Ongoing Programs:

  • Most recent official transcripts or academic records showing completed coursework and grades
  • Official enrollment verification letter (if available
  • Expected graduation date (if applicable)
  • Official translations of documents not issued in English (If available)
  • Any additional documents required by ERES based on the country of study

Note:

This guideline applies to all evaluations except those for professional licensure. For document requirements specific to licensure evaluations, please refer to the dedicated pages.

If you completed a research-based or non-coursework program, your university must send a letter directly to ERES confirming that no transcript is available, as your program was entirely research-based. This letter will serve as a substitute for the transcript.
